Less than 1/4 hour after I came back from work I was already in front of the sewing machine, thanks to Anita’s Little Stitches who has put an article with lots and lots and lots of tutorials among which I discovered the Square Deal Pincushion of Heather Bailey.
Just the time to choose fabric, ribbon, button, to make some stitches and here is my version of that pincushion. First the front,

then the back.

Pincushions exist in so many shapes and sizes it’s always a pleasure to make… and to offer.

Here are some I’ve made :

This one looks like a big cake (6″)…

and these are filled with lavendar (can you smell it
? )

Here, I rabbit decided it was a nice place to stay.

And these three are from my “creation”.
Now, it’s your turn to have fun.
I just love these flowers.
Hoping you enjoyed your visit. Have a nice weekend.

I love them all. If You like these pupple coneflowers, please take a look to my blog: http://www.heikesgarten.blogspot.com/
Greetings from Germany

Hello Heike and thank you for your comment. What a surprise to see the same flowers on your blog (in your garden and stitched too). This is great ! As for the pincushions, I’m definately going to start a collection
Greetings from Belgium.
D’ailleurs, j’y retourne. Bonne soirée.
You must just start another new blog. How are you doing? I think you are the Rachel that I had emailed to about over about 2 years ago. You are very welcome of the tutorials. I was so excited that I found something really cute to share. Have a wonderful weekend. Your blog is very pretty with flowers and the pincushions are so beautiful.
Hello Anita. Yes indeed: it’s me. I’ve followed all your posts on both blogs. Hoping you’re doing well. Thank you for your comment. Hugs from Belgium
Wouah!!!!!
I love your pincushions. They are almost too pretty to use
Hello Jocelyn, I totally agree with you. That’s why I prefer offering them than using them. Have a nice day and thank you for your comment.
